City of Armagh High School Visit
This morning, Mrs Mulholland and Mrs Smiton told us all about the wonderful opportunities on offer at their school. We learnt about chromatography. Mrs Smiton explained that the term comes from Latin meaning ‘colour splitting’. We watched marker colour split into greens, blues, yellows and reds - the four house colours of CAHS. For the show-stopper, Mrs Smiton, instructed us to don safety glasses as she combined three chemicals to produce a series of explosive ‘cannonball’ bangs.
Thanks a lot Mrs Mulholland and Mrs Smiton. Looking forward to seeing you again at CAHS Open Night on Tuesday January 2025 at 7pm.
