Barefoot Computational Thinking Workshop
23rd May 2023
Yesterday, James from the AMMA Centre was in school to provide a workshop in computational thinking for classes P4/5 and P6/7. We learnt that we do lots of computational thinking every day from we get up in the morning until we go to bed at night. Together we created sets of rules for getting up and making breakfast. Later we created more rules for drawing silly characters. In computing these rules are called algorithms. It was lots of fun when we drew characters using each other’s algorithms!
