A Kitten Called Candy or Cat and Duck (k sound) Numeracy – subtracting a multiple of 10 from a multiple of 10. e.g. 50 – 20 Use Space 50 grid again this week. Ask your child to show you the steps for – a multiple of 10. 10 = 1 step up. 20 = 2 steps up etc. Ask some sums – your child will show answer. |

Question Mark, Full Stop or Exclamation Mark? Ask the child for reasons for their answers. A question mark is used when someone is asking for information. Questions usually start with who, what, where, when, how, etc. Numeracy – continue on from Monday and Tuesday - now try some sums without using the grid. Record these in Numeracy Activities Book. |
