Killylea Primary School, Co. Armagh

Creative Gaming Project

22nd Feb 2018

Killylea Primary School are one of six schools in the EA Southern Region to be involved in the AmmA Partnership School Programme.  The pupils have been working with Mary, a local professional artist, to create prints from their copper engravings.  The pupils have also recorded their own sound effects using a range of instruments and scrap materials in creative ways.  Lots of excellent artwork has been produced by the pupils which they have photographed and imported into a gaming app.  It won't be long before each pupil has created their own unique Eco-themed platform game and all under the expert guidance of Emma McCaugherty (AmmA Centre).  A big THANK YOU to Mary and Emma!
